Project info

Westown House is the remains of a 18th Century 7 bay two storey Georgian demesne manor with a medieval barrel-vault basement dating from c.15th-17th Century. The vaulted basement is a recorded monument. It is the intention of Westown House’s new owners to transform this ruinous, derelict structure into a family home once again. The grounds and setting of Westown House will be of a parkland appearance, with principles of picturesque 19th Century landscape applied. Downey’s planning team provided expertise during pre-planning consultation and the subsequent procurement of planning permission for this unique project.
